We are pleased to announce the introduction of Cloud Linux to all our cPanel Hosting.

One of the biggest issues with shared hosting is balancing the use of a server between all of the customers on the server. We have had many processes in place in the past to manage usage to ensure that the server isn't overused by any one individual customer otherwise it would affect all other customers on the server.

We have never had incidents of downtime as we don't overpopulate our servers, however we are aware that it only takes one incident for customer to change their opinion of our reliability.

With this in mind we have now converted all our cPanel Hosting servers to Cloud Linux. This allows us to hard set every customer with their allowed usage of the server, although these allowances have always been there real time management has not been possible, only 10 minute snapshots have been available previously. Cloud Linux allows us to monitor the server in real time, and the server automatically reacts to accounts that try to exceed their allowance by throttling the site, or in the worst case scenario giving a 503 error (Site not available)

All this happens without affecting any other customer on the server, keeping it perfectly balanced and online. We give massive allowances and you can check your usage at anytime from within the cPanel control panel.

Again this is another step that we are taking to ensure that our customers get reliability second to none. So with the peace of mind knowing that the server is backed up on the hour every hour and no chance of it ever getting overloaded our customers will experience market leading stability and speed.
